Do you have a creator mindset?

The internet today is built up and popularized by content creators.

We see it all the time with social media.

But can we apply the same concept on our forums?

Can we develop a creator mindset to advance our forums and increase popularity?

How do you feel about this idea?

Creativity I think isn’t something we do, it’s something we have, as in not everyone can write quality content. Those who don’t have creativity or the mindset to write original content generally stick to the sources of others.

I recently found I have a creative mind for political satire and although humour doesn’t travel well across borders, I write for a UK audience who would find the following amusing in a Monty Python type of way. We write for our specific audience.

I like your idea of niching down on your creativity.

I agree, though, not a lot of people can be creative or create quality content.

And Monty Python is probably one of the best! Good fun humor right there!

I am happy with how my work turns out these days. I have tried to use them on my forums too.

If we can have something of definite value, people are going to like it.

I've always found that I'm willing to put the time into my forum and try new things to move things forward. I do think I've made mistakes in the past though and sometimes it's good to have other people's feedback to help guide me.

I feel the same way.

I've been running forums for a few decades now. I've seen a lot. I've learned a lot.

But I don't believe that anyone can truly call themselves an expert.

You can keep developing your expertise, though, but no one is truly an expert because there is always something new to learn.

Forum owners especially need to understand that.
