Some experts say that a good community methodology for increasing membership and engagement is through giving stuff away.

Aside from free membership, offering members even more freebies as the actively engage with the community might make them more loyal and active.

Who doesn't like free stuff?

How do you feel about such a method? If you're using it or have used it in the past - tell us about it.

Based on your banner, you have guides.

I wonder if you could make more extensive guides and give that away to registered members.

What do you think about that idea?
Unlikely to achieve much 😅
Our Guides are mostly basic tutorials, so entering a contest and winning a "How To Setup 2FA on Twitter" is probably not going to go over great.

I have thought about giving away tech items, but in some way, I would really like to combine this into an idea to help tech creators. Like sponsoring users and giving them new mics or something along those lines. Although that isn't great for promotion, so no sure.

MemberPress does monthly giveaways on various tech items.

They typically do it for people who upgrade to their premium plan.

Maybe that is something you could do? If you have a premium account - use it for that OR create a membership that requires a certain amount of timed activity (per week, month, day, etc.) and only members of that group can qualify.

How about something like that?
