Do you fear layoffs?

Anytime the economy is going bad, layoff is usually very common and I believe that it is a reasonable thing for me to be fearful of my job. It is usually very difficult to get a job after you have been laid off.

These days I am self employed, therefore, I do not face any issue of layoff. Even when I had a job., I was not afraid of layoff because I though with the kind of skills I had and the things I was capable of doing, I would easily get a job, so I was never afraid of losing the job.
