Do you ever code your own bots for your sites? As in bots to protect you and to maybe keep track of certain things? I am just wondering, because I know some people who work on bots for discord and other services and I figure adding bot support to my sites could be beneficial to me. What do you think?

I haven't thought about this until now. It sounds a great idea as the bots will be like virtual assistants when you're not there - things would still go on.
My only thing would be how intelligent would the bot be to help handle some complex users or say those that want to spam for instance?

Bots are meant to be coded to your own specifications to meet the need one initially installed them for, leaving them to just operate would be like leaving a machine to control itself.

I think this has to do with programming as well right? I don't know much about coding but I would love to do these as well, if I have the time I would learn how to do it

There was a time that I want to have my own bot. Andi have tried many articles on how to code my own bot but I wasn't successful and I don't have money to pay a programmer

Bots aren't always bad because most of search engine are using bot to reference your page if you protect your pages by noindex nofollow bots will not reference your site.

Probably when I have a website for business I can always search and learn more about these bots, from the write up,they seem very beneficial and effective.

Currently I don't have a site to code, so I really have a site to code if actually I have a website for business I would have learn more about how to code website.

Currently I don't really own a site so I know nothing about coding a website. But then I would love to learn more because I plan on owning a website in the near future.

I don't have coding skills, if I had coding skills I would of course make my own bots that could help me with social media sharing and provide customer support service.

I don't know how to create bot just because of the fact that I'm not a programmer. However, if any irregularities is done on my website I will definitely know
