Do you count service team members as staff?

Overstaffing I think we all know can be an issue, and with smaller promotion forums, or even large ones, having to many service team members marked as staff might deter some members, so the question is, do you mark service team members as staff so they show up as staff, or simply a member with a colored name and access to staff boards?

I think they can be considered as staff members. Technically they are staff as they are helping with the forum.

I would count them as staff, honestly any member that has any additional access AND powers would be consider staff. This does not include groups that you buy into (with real money or with some type of forum currency).

Eh, they are staff yes but when you have a small forum, let's say with 25 members, and you have 10 of those as staff, people might tend to shy away when they see how many staff members are online vs actual active members. So no, until the forum get's bigger, I don't think counting them as staff is the best idea.

I would count them as staff. They still have a job to do on the promotion forum. Service Team members till have to complete reviews, packagers etc and together we are all a team!

I don't have staff, mods, or co-Admins. The last person I made co-Admin not only later cyber stalked and harassed me for 6 months, but also admitted he was going to delete me from my own forum. a**hole.

That's terrible! I'm sorry to hear that.

That's another reminder of how careful everyone needs to be when it comes to hiring their staff members, especially in administrative roles.

My other forum has 2200+ members but everyone is cool so it's easy to manage. There is one person I'd trust as he's paid for my hosting many times but he isn't a current member....
