Do you allow your guests full permission?

Guest must receive full permission before gaining access to me or my forum. There must be due process in attaining anything civil. Getting permission will always give the guest some sense of composition and responsibility.

I would not give a guest full access to my site, if I do what would be a need of them registering on the site, which is not a good marketing move for my brand as I am losing potential clients

I allow guests to be able to see all the content on the forum but they are not able to see the contents of threads, create threads, reply to threads, or do anything else, they can only view the contents of the forum so they know what they are getting if they consider registering. I feel this helps to bring in more members who like what they see on the forum and want to be more involved with the forum.

How can I allow commenting for the people who have not even bothered to register on my site? Guests on my forum can only access the forum, they cannot reply or create topics on the forum.

What's the level of permission that you allow for your forum guest visitors? I have seen some forums where they are not allowed to view attachments or view the content's body. They must be registered to gain full access to every feature in the forum.
I do not think it is ideal to give guests full permission as long as they are not members of the platform. They can get the full permission immediately they register and I know websites that do that too

I think that's the way it should be, they should be restricted from viewing main content body until they are fully registered. This should be the prerequisite to gaining access to every feature in the forum.
