Do you allow comments on your blog posts?

I have a free blog, and I allow comments on my blog posts. This is because if you're interacting with your blog visitors, they will likely come back.

Please i need an enlightenment on this issue, i think commenting on a blog post is an way of generating traffics and bringing more income for the owner of the blog?

It is real that commenting blog is a way for generating traffics and bring more income for the owner of the blog but in comments of a blog you may find redundant comment like this one:
X is my youtube channel that I am talking everyday about cars issues please subscribe
You can hire me at fiverr this is my fiverr URL
Follow me at instagram Y I need followers
You can follow my twitter account that is talking about nature issues
You need to buy new clothes take a lot to our store
...etc
These comments are repeated every day or every 3 days by unknown guest at all new topics hoping that are approved by error between hundred of comment so they enjoy of free promotion without being limited to blog subject and this will affect bad the conversation in a blog.

Well I would if I had a blog because comments are like feedbacks and feedbacks are tools for improvement so definitely would be allowing that

If you allow comments and if you approve only the comments that add value to your content, comments can be considered free content. Having a lot of comments improves SEO

I allow comments on my blog posts that are meaningful of course and are relevant to the topic on discussion ony blog. No illegal form of advertising will be allowed in such blog posts I allow though

I also do not allow suspicious links to be shared with the comment. Normally, I remove comments that do not add value to the discussion. Do you allow commenting on your blog posts?

I always like to have comments on my blog posts and delete them. Either I thanks them about their reviews because they help me to improve my self in my writings. So we shouldn't delete them. Give them value and improve your self.

I think the main reason why anyone could create a blog site is for people to give their very best review about the site either good or bad is what most bloggers expect from anyone coming to their blog site I guess.

If you operate a site, and if you care about the visitors and commentators, you should take a pain of reading comments and approving them manually.

I guess that comments on the blog give the blogger feedback on his work but I also think it should be moderated before being published for obvious reasons.

One of the best way to make conversation going in a blog is to allow comments and this will also help the blogger to be trusted by the visitors because they know that there is a blogger that is ready to answer what they don't understand

You need comment's on your blog for two purposes, one to add more content (Google treats comments as your web content) and two, to lower bounce rate as comments improve user engagement

There is a feature for allow comments for registered users, so it is possible to allow signups and then moderate comment from registered users is easily tracking spam like for example ban spamming users.

Blogs that doesn't give room for coments in my opinion wouldnt last. The coments would tell you the kind of reaction you are getting. What to stop doing and what to keep up

Definitely, when I own a blogspot, I would give leverage to users to comment on it be positive or negative. I will use it as a place of opportunity for innovation and creativity.

Sometimes it is also wise to allow comments on news blog because it give the audience a wider participation

Though I don't own a blog at the moment, but I think allowing comments on blog is the right thing to do as far as it can be moderated to suit the owners taste before finally making it public. There can be a very useful and helpful comments that may be of benefits to the blog owner.
