The use of artificial intelligence in content generation is becoming very common especially in any website that deals with content publications. Some forum owners frown at it when AI generated contents are posted on their website because it's believed at least for now it doesn't help with SEO.

AI generated contents have been the talk of the town for mostly freelancers in contents publication. Most forums don't allow posting of any kind of AI generated contents.

I was recently in a forum where the posting of AI generated contents is allowed but with a condition of the content not being more than 45% AI generated. This means you can use AI generated contents but you have to rewrite parts in it to have 55% human written potential.

I do not allow AI content on my sites. My sites are for humans to ask questions, provide answers, and discussion on topics that matter in life. I do not want bots to speak in my community. I have a zero tolerance policy against AI-generated content.

A lot of content creators have not become very lazy when it comes to writing contents on their own which is why the use of artificial intelligence in content generation have become very common. This is very bad because it is making content creation look like a joke.

One concern raised by some forum owners is the impact on SEO. AI-generated content may not always meet the standards and guidelines set by search engines, which can affect search rankings and visibility. Human-generated content tends to be more authentic, engaging, and tailored to specific audiences, which search engines often prioritize.

Nobody should allow AI generated content it doesn't add any value to the site most of the time it's very obvious that AI wrote a text it's to robotic..

Unfortunately this is not something that is happening today when it comes to contents being used on website because it seems as if that most people are now interested in making use of artificial intelligence generated contents which is becoming a norm for a lot of them.

AI is ever advancing, getting better, adapting, changing etc. I don't care if someone uses AI to help them write content, or help them with something else. As long as you're using it to help with your main writing, than it's fine I think. I think when they use just AI to to their writing is when people are going to just get lazy.

Then we'll start to see forums with similar sounding people, sounding like bots. The problem with AI is that it doesn't always sound like a person, so sometimes you need to edit what AI puts out, because you may just out yourself faster when using AI.

I will accept it as long as it's not overly abused.

This is something a lot of people are trying to do right now when it comes to allowing the use of AI generated content on their website. I know a friend of mine who updated his website rules to allowing only 45% AI generated content to be used on the platform, the rest 55% will be human written.

I am pretty sure that no forum owner allows such kind of content on their platform. The fact of the matter remains that I have always produced handwritten content on almost all the forums and this is why people also like to read my content and comments. AI generated content is not acceptable anywhere.

Let me burst your bubble, it's actually allowed on RIF as we speak right now. If you go and check out the forum's posting rules and guidelines, you will see the conditions how it's allowed to be used. If it's something that you can work with, you can use it to create and add articles in the community.

AI-generated content is something I am very much against as I do not feel it can do your forum any favours, especially if the same content may have been posted in several different other forums.

I have in the past been asked by a few people if I ever use AI to generate the content that I post on forums. I will admit I was a little offended at that question but I can understand why some people may ask due to how popular AI is now.

I stay away from any kind of AI-generated content myself as I do not feel it is professional at all to use.

I am against using AI to generate content and then publish the content on a blog or a forum. However, I favor the use of AI in getting topic ideas or outlines. If you are a creative person, you can use AI for your benefit. I use AI to create copies that I use for marketing. I also use AI to create outline for my long form content.

This has always been a debate for me that I haven’t been able to decide one way or another. It depends on the specific forum. The last time I ran into this was a user using an A.I. to troll another user (not on this board). One thing I should say is this: if you’re using an A.I., disclose it like you would disclose any other reference source.

One thing I can decide firmly on: if you’re getting paid to post something, write it yourself. Forums are a medium designed for human beings to connect with each other through writing, so if you’re using an A.I. to get paid in that way, you’re not providing that human connection and content that you’re being paid to produce.

Now granted, that human connection can be “look at this A.I. doing this lol stupid” or “check out this cool new A.I. thing I found” which is why I haven’t felt strongly about cracking down on it. It needs to be used as a supplement to human interactions, not to be used in place of them.

Seriously, I hate reading AI generated contents. They are very painful for my eyes. So, the same way I hate reading it, there's no way I would be interested in making use of it in creating contents in any forum. I won't allow it to be used in any way on my forum. I have seen some users who even lie when they use it, thinking it's not something obvious to find out.
