Do DJs make a lot of money?

I imagine DJs make a lot of money. If we have any DJs here, how much do you get paid? I imagine it also depends on the areas you work. But you could also be featured on an album and work with artists as well. I wish I had the skills to produce or play music myself, but I don't, so DJing wouldn't work out for me.

DJs are not that popular in here because my country does not have many nightclubs. They are mostly found in many rich neighbourhoods. So, having said that, those DJs might be earning a lots of money in those places. They need to possess skills for sure.

I believe that they actually make a lot of money but it is a trend that usually fades off with time because you will keep on upgrading whenever there is a new technology in order for you to still stay in the mix and age also plays a very big role in this kind of job description. When you're older, most new young artists won't hire you for jobs.

It is actually one of the biggest disadvantages of working as a disc jockey because there is always a possibility of not being able to get hired for you to perform in order for you to get paid and no one is going to pay you money whenever you are not being hired to do anything.

I actually believe that with the way technology is going today, it is going to get to a point where at artifical intelligence is even going to do the job more better than a human being is going to do it which is going to render that particular set of people who are specialists in it completely out of the job.

Just because you are a DJ does not mean you make a lot of money. If you work in a big club, you might be making good money, however, if you work in a small restaurant, you might not earn well. If you do not have a regular job and you only work with private parties, your income will depend on the number of offers you receive.

Certainly there are very few DJs who earn a lot of money, in many clubs in my country there are DJs who charge about 40-50 $ per session, and it is not that they have many sessions every week, so it can become a normal salary if you are not a well-known DJ, most of the DJs who want to earn some more money in my country go to Ibiza, which is where money actually is.

Yes and it depends on the kind of events they are involved them some kind of events could be big while some could be small but it doesn't mean that because a particular event is more means they will pay small what does matters is the kind of event that you're holding and kind of people that are there.
