Do blue light/rays protective glasses work?

Do you think the protective blue light filters/protective lenses work to help mitigate the effects of blue light from tv and computer screens? I was told it only helps about 15-25% and that it's 'generally not worth it' Do you think its worth having? or are they correct in saying it's not worth the additional cost?

Yeah, they make a difference. I was struggling with insomnia and my doctor told me that using filtered glasses would improve this since I spend a lot of time at my desk. They did! Within a few weeks of using them, my sleeping had improved 70%.
