What do you think is the best commenting platform around? I am planning on going with Disqus for a new site but might change this if something better exists.

I've used several different plugins, but it seems like Disqus is the only one that works perfectly, doesn't have compatibility issues and is consistently updated and improved. I suggest just going with Disqus, since it seems like the best option at this time.

I prefer Disqus; I think it is a really wonderful platform.

I also do not mind Facebook comments, although some people may not like to use Facebook to comment.

I like using the default commenting and Disqus.

Disqus is pretty cool and is really popular now.

If you don't want to use the native commenting platform if you are using a CMS, it is better that you try out disqus. Sometimes, Facebook comments and Google plus comments take a lot to load. I like to offer native comment as they are stored on my database. But, if you want to use custom comment services, Disqus is good with social signin, related posts, money making and featured comment!

If you are looking for fast loading times on your website I would highly suggest you use Disqus as that is a lot better compatibility wise and also in loading time. I always tend to use either Disqus or the commenting platform that is already available rather than anything from social networking for quicker load times.
