Disney's Frozen

Has anyone watched this? Apparently it is really good so I really want to see it. The song "Let it go" is definitely very catchy.

I watch it with my niece and nephew. It was alright for a Disney movie It is just like any one of their fairy tale movies. Lots and lots of singing

Over all I actually did enjoy it. My niece and nephew liked it too.

Seems they did their marketing really well. All the parodies and such seemed to have made a big extra boost as well.

Does not surprise me at all though.

Yeah, I think it was for that annoying song, The parodies were a bit funny in my opinion. But other than that, the movie was an "ok" movie, not the best but not the worst.

Lion King is a classic.

But I would rather watch Frozen the Lion King! Frozen is much more modern and attracts the modern eye.

But the culture today is not a Lion King generation. We are a Frozen generation, so to say. Frozen deals with love and all that stuff modern people like. Not Lion King.

In any case, I found Frozen to be a major let-down. It was suppose to be feminist, but the whole plot revolved around "finding a guy". If it was really meant to be feminist then the writers could have just left it to the sisters.

Even at the end of the movie, you really don't know who the bad and good characters were.

Not exactly. As I stated in my post, a woman could have done the saving, but for some reason she needed a guy in the middle of it.

How do you classify the movie more modern? Is it because the CGI is more modern? o.o Define modern in this context.
