Did you have any known ancestors?

I don't think my family ever had famous ancestors. The main problem to find out is the archives because it would be very difficult for me to get access to it and also some archives require money for it. But our family always lived in the village, so I think my ancestors were simple peasants

I know my ancestors from the last 8 generations. Much of our ancestral history is known to us. It has passed down to us as a story.
