When it comes to the theme/skin/color layout of the forum, do you enjoy light or dark colors? Any certain mixture like blue/black, white/green, ect?

Dark always. I just love my dark themes for websites and it is honestly so much easier on the eyes, especially after you get used to browsing dark themes all the time

I'm also for dark themes only, I even have a plugin on firefox that will turn a website dark if they don't have a dark theme up.

I prefer light themes, dark themes causes my eyes to stress (although there are few cool dark themes i like). Light themes make me to read the website easily.

I prefer dark themes but it really depends on the site's genre. A dark theme for a general discussion forum, like here at Chillerr, works perfectly, but not so well for a promotion forum. Nonetheless, all websites should have the option of a dark or light theme, and whichever suits the genre best should be the default theme.

+1 on that. Gaming and general discussion forums tend to look good with darker themes. Promotion and webmaster forums tend to look weird with dark themes so light themes work a lot better.

I believe most people use Dark Mode nowadays as it is easier on the eyes and uses less power on phones or tablets. The only thing I use light mode on is iCloud.com and that is just to access my advertisements for my Discord Servers from my PC. Otherwise, on all of my devices it is in Dark Mode and so are most websites and applications.

In my opinion, it is very important to have the option of a dark style AND a light style. The default style at Chillerr is dark because I think a dark style suits a general discussion forum better than a light one, but for those that do not like our dark style, they can switch to our light style with two clicks (which can be found in the right hand side of the footer). :)

I always prefer the dark theme, since light topics do not do me any good to the eye, I already have blue light removed from all my electronic devices since I think it is quite harmful, if a forum does not have a dark theme, I ask admin if he could add it kindly.

Dark themes are a lot easier on the eyes, for everyone. Most sites are adding the option to make a sites theme dark. Most browsers and operating systems go for the dark themes.

If a site doesn't have one though, there are extensions like Dark Reader, which will make the theme of any site dark. It's what I'm using on bizdustry as I prefer a darker theme to the bright theme.

Sometimes I am not bothered. Like on this forum I am fine with it being lighter but for my own forums, I prefer dark. I like darker themes because they are easier on my eyes and easier in mobile.

For me light themes are more appropriate, my eyes strain when I visit dark themed websites. I feel easier to read and interact (post comments, replies) when the theme is light. On my forums, I do not give users an option to choose betweeen light theme and dark theme.

Dark themes is always going to be my favourite when it comes to the one I love using on forums. It's what I make use of on my own forum and I love it being what I can switch to when using another owner's forum. The colour of dark theme is more easy on my eyes.
