I am not sure when I got this information from but I heard that many domain registrars were also blocking the registration of domain with the word covid in order to stop rumors on Covid.

According to the rules on some domain registration PLATFORMs they have banned the use or registration of domain name related to covid 19 pandemic. I think they don't Want any false content about the disease

Are covid related domains popular these days? I feel like a lot of people are banking on this pandemic and are looking to make sites on it to make money. Many have already sprung up, but there are likely to be a lot more of them. But, with the pandemic ending, there may be less of it. What do you think?

What kind of joke is this. Covid related domain, I don't think there is. People are busy with managing sites nowadays but the facts is still not because of covid-19 which is in place now. Covid is just a pandemic and the situation is still seriously or the world is battling with the variation in the virus and vaccine.

I don't think they are popular now because it the virus itself lose popularity now that it's almost over talk more if those using it to make money online this days.

There's not much of them out there because almost all governments have Covid websites already set up.
Another factor I feel that made not much Covid sites to be created is the information being put on these sites, these information have to be authentic without any rumours, besides other avenues were utilised in dispersing information

I think most of these registrars have banned the registration of covid domain names. You have to be licensed to be able to buy such names. They know it'll be abused if they allow it.

The charts for the number of cases has gone down drastically before so there wasn't much need for getting information from domains but now that the cases are rising again, we might have need for them.

I am not sure but I heard that some domain registrars forbade people registering a domain with covid in it because of the possibility of spreading false information.

If site is spreading false informations there will be warning in blogs and forums about this fake website review about covid 19 so first thing before enter to a covid 19 site is to google it first then enter to the website.

The covid 19 related domains were in high demand during the time of serious case evading most of the society but I dont think the need for and the demand for such kind of domain will be necessary after the departure of the corona.
