A family friend bought a condo unit in the city. Now he wanted to rent it out so I said you have to furnish it. He didn't know that a condo unit is usually furnished otherwise no one would rent his unit. And when I asked about the parking slot, he had none because the cost of one parking slot is $20,000. Yeah, that's too expensive. But how woud someone rent a nice condo unit when there is no parking space? A person who can rent that much means he has a car and that would be a problem. We need to check on everything before buying a condo unit.

@Alexandoy I have seen so many properties with high price tags in the market with net price $x million. I still can't figure our why a property should lack basic things which makes it a comfortable one to live in.

There are rules for parking in every town and on every lane. Parking spaces in cities are very critical. A city must have ample parking spaces to have a place for its residents and tourists to park their cars. Since cars are a major transportation factor, a city must meet drivers' needs. Well in that case , it is really not a good idea to buy one without parking slot.

Your @Alexandoy thread is interesting, every day we learn more about different countries. In my country the condominium units are not furnished. The only properties that are generally rented furnished are student rooms and some rooms in family homes. Otherwise, everyone must have everything they need to rent. And what you say about the parking spaces is very important, which is almost essential

I agree I think it would be a major let-off if after purchasing the condo unit, there is no space to park your car or cars. I think your friend needs to find a space for a parking lot, and if not, I'm sure some people would still rent the space.

The only person that can rent that particular house, is someone without a car, becouse you can't be paying for your house rent and at the same time pay for where your is normally packed, it doesn't make sense even if you have the money to do, it doesn't sign of reasonableness

Yes of course before purchasing a condo unit you need to check if you have more space for yourself and also your car. These are some major things you need to do before payment.

A condo unit as expensive as that will always needs a parking space or else it might take forever for it to be rent out. You can tell your friend to look for a way to attach a parking space to the condo house so that it will get tenants for it on time and realise his profits.

I think before buying condo unit you should always check if it have a enough space of parking your car, because it is very important before paying for it.

When you look at this from a business point of view , that is a terrible decision by the owner of the condo because surely anyone who affords that would definitely need parking space.

Yeah I have had similar experiences. In my current apartment, we have up to five occupants, but very little space to park cars. Some do park cars at work.

Indeed parking space is a very important aspect in every apartment, no one wants to park their cars in places they cannot give account of the happenings. I have seen so many persons who refuse to rent a house simply because there is no space for parking cars.

Yes, it is important to check out all necessary things when purchasing any property.
If you intend selling that property, ensure it has all necessary facilities that potential buyers do not overlook.

No way!, I cannot buy a condo unit without a parking slot because I won't feel comfortable using a neighbour's parking slot when I should have mine.

Before purchasing any property at all you need to check and consider the vital infrastructures that should be in place. You might decide to sell or flip it in the future. Most condo unit comes with parking space I don't know why his own case is different.

This is really true,in making choices for buying or renting of property care must be taking in checking out the basics and not overlook any shortcoming so as not to regret it.
