Complete System Reset?

So I am one of them, that has to have fast everything! so every 6 months or so I will do a complete system reset. I back up everything and do a fresh install of Windows if it's my computer or a factory data reset if on Android. am I the only one that does this? or is this normal? I mean I even set a calendar event and do it all on the same day!

If you see improvement from doing that - then I can understand why you do it. I've never been one to do this. I only did resets if I knew something was going wrong with my computer.

I never system reset my computer unless there is something terribly wrong with it. I keep my computer pretty clean from files, applications, browser data, etc. as-is.

I have done a full clean windows 11 installed once since I had windows 11 that was about December time last year partly since I had so many errors and I had to do it ;( I mean I do not do it that often since it would take hours to install everything again

I never do this unless a update broke something. I thankfully haven't had to to do this with Windows 11 yet, I had to factory reset a couple laptops and reinstall Windows 10 since a update broke Windows. That's why I don't like Windows 10 lol.

As an IT person, resetting a computer is always a last resort for me personally. Most issues that I have come across can be resolved with a wee bit of research and time. Now if things are time sensitive, sure a DB and Reset may be the best solution.

Most problems that I see day to day are Driver related, Malware related, Tune Ups, and/or an Update related issue. Update issues are alot more common since Windows 10 and 11 hit the stage lol.

I never do a full system or factory reset until and unless the os is corrupted and I'm left with no other option but to do it. I try my best to find solutions that would avoid getting it done.
