Something that always seems to have been a thing but seems to be more noticeable now with some forums is competition. I have always been the kind of person who helps everyone and wants to see every community owner succeed but in some cases, you don't always get community owners who have the same thoughts and instead, are in competition with any forum that is a similar niche.
I am all for a little friendly competition, I feel that makes things fun but when it comes to competition that makes the atmosphere tense, I tend to walk away from that.
