My question is why do I need to have community forum software? What kind of technical skills do I need to have and how my forum community is going to help me achieve my goals?

There is a lot of software that you have to have in order to be successful in your own forum and if you don't have the technical know how then i suggest hiring someone that does.

Once you have installed software on your servers, you can customize your community and launch it. There are a lot of community software you can try, from open source to premiums and even free hoasted.
