I have not used it, so I do not have first hand experience with ClearVoice but you can trust this company as it is a sister agency of Fiverr. If you already use Fiverr and make money there is no need to use ClearVoice, but if you are a writer and if you have not started selling your writing service, you can certainly try ClearVoice.

Maybe I'll give this website a chance, I've never heard of it, even if you haven't used it, do you at least know that it's legal and pays?

Fiverr is publicly traded company, and ClearVoice is a sister company of Fiverr. It is legal and it pays. This site is basically a freelancing sites for writers. They exclusively market to companies that are looking for writers.
