Check the renewl fee before registering a domain

This is an emerging issue in the domain buying and selling business as most of these domain registrars do promotional offers for their domains especially when it's your first time of purchasing their domains, so when next you want to renew your domain subscription you will be surprised at the amount you will see. The solution to this is always checking the amount of money you will pay for domain renewal fees and the next year or next decade.

Many people tend to make this very mistake, they just register without actually confirming the renewal fee if its pocket friendly based on their income level. Not just in getting domain but also in any subscription your purchase, make your the renewal fee is within your power

wow thanks for the information you have just share and I think this is one of the most important thing we all need to consider because a domain may be very cheap when you are buying but the renewal fee of that domain might be something you will not be able to afford.

Thatbisb very correct. Just be sure you're not at the receiving end of the stick as regards domain renewal, it is very good to always check what your renewal fees will be before buying the domain

I learned this by losing a lot of money. In 2016 when my domain registrar was running promotion, I bough many domains for $1 but the next year, the domain renewal price was as high as $32

I must commend you for taking your time to put up this very important and informative write up. Personally, I did not know this before now not until I am reading it here, indeed there are so much to learn here as one earns. Thanks for sharing.

I once registered a domain with dot online extension because it cost just $1. I build a site on this. I spent just about $100 to design the domain and develop the content. When I was to renew the domain in the second year, I nearly fainted. The renewal cost was $32.
You can find a lot of domains for a really cheap price during the first year or promotional event, however, you should always check how much you will be paying for the second year renewal.
Since domain extension has nothing to d with SEO there is no need to go to particular domain. I see a lot of fancy for dot io. It is one of the expensive extensions. I don't think there is a need to use this extension, you can use dot net, a cheaper alternative.
I’m not boosting about money but I don’t think $32 is really too much to renew a domain if you can use almost $100 to design the domain then renewing with $32 won’t be too much

Its is important to know the renewal fee of a domain before purchasing because it can destabilize your budget and your capital of the website if that what you are into.

There are platforms that offer has a very cheap domain but if you really do some research or take a look you will discover that the renewal fee is very high.

Yes you are right. I was checking on Google some place that I can buy the cheapest domain name and I saw many websites that offers cheap domain name. but when I checked the renewal fee they are more than $30

I was once a victim of something like this and it was so painful because I had already quit blogging,I forgot to disable the auto renewal feature and I was automatically debited after a year

There are different domain extension you can use for your domain so far you know the kind of traffic you are targeting. You can even use the extension of your country of you are really okay with it

I have seen a lot of people who have also experienced this before and therefore it is a valid advice that you should always check how much they charge for renewal first.

Currently, I am buying only dot com because the renewal price for dot com is same as the registration price (unless you have received the domain for a discounted price)

it is not only renewal fee that is worth checking when buying or selling a domain, the name itself may not be applicable some domains have .xyz instead of .com

I think domain registrant company use this to lure people to buy from them and believe me it's definitely a stupid strategy from them because a lot of people will definitely leave bad review for them

You have written a really good piece on checking the renewal fees before buying any domain online as well as so much education as to how domain name might not really be necessary for affecting SEO too. A very good read

Thanks for sharing these information, it's always necessary to observe all these before taking any final payment steps to avoid any issues in the long run.

In some cases revival charges could be extremely higher that's why it is actually essential to inspect prior to buying a domain name. Webinternet web sites like name cheap fee much less charges for revival, that's exactly just what I have actually been actually utilizing for the final few years.

Thanks for the tip. This will be helpful for me when I finally get the chance to create my website. That fee is just too high. But will the renewal amount be stated? Son may decide to make it anonymous.
