Certain Colors for Certain Niches?

This divide is made by people however it seems interesting to assign the color of blue to IT and technologies or pink to cooking or green to gardening and agriculture.

A lot of masculine males cook. Well, it's a survival skill. People should rethink this.

Colors not only make your website look cool and attractive but also touch the emotions of your visitors. Though it's a personal choice which color you like for a particular niche but too bright colors must be avoided. Instead, use softer colors like light pink, light blue, light green depending on your niche.

I prefer dark forums but some people say they are for coding, gaming, and the black hat SEO website.

Anyway, obviously I wouldn't make a child care site dark. It's too weird.
So the question is why ForumPromotion does not have a dark theme or do not they implement a dark theme for their forum because many people like me prefer dark version.

I don't think it matters too much unless you are trying to sell something. They say that red and yellow or green and yellow are two combinations that work best in terms of food and public services. You will notice this with fast-food, gas stations, etc.

I just go with what looks good and stands out. If I want blue, I go for something closer to teal or aqua so it stands out more. If I was red, I go more for a coral or burnt red.

Is there some psychology with Wal-Mart being blue and Target and Kmart (if it still exists) being red? I think it's just brands trying to have their "own look". Is that assessment too simple?

There is a video on YouTube I watched a while back. I can't remember the name but it explains why brands use colors they do.

I know off the top of my head, red signals rush, energy, and speed for people. Yellow is similar but more relaxing. Blue is a trustworthy color and I believe this goes in line with the human mind and the perception of the sky and water.

I do not think colors are associated with a certain niche, however, because of marketing gimmicks we easily associate certain colors with a certain niche, For instance, we associate green with the environment, pink with women, read with relationships, etc.
