Can you sue a scam website and its owner(s)?

You can actually Sue a scam website in which you know it's owners and everything about the website but for a website that you do not know the owners there is no way that you can sue such a website.

You can only report the site through the domain and hosting company with proof of wrong doing. If the company finds out serious of breaches, they can get the site delisted and banned for life.

Is not possible in most cases unless very few cases whereby you know the owner of the website directly. Besides that, it would be very hard to locate the real owner and also trying to press legal charges

Its possible to due a scam site online and get the site closed down if you have the necessary evidence that is genuine. And you're a webmaster, then you can contact the site hosting company report the case and wait for the right proceedings to get the judgement done.

I didn't know it was possible and when possible, it's very hard. The thing I know for sure, it's that is possible to report to the police a website that promotes illegal activity and commits cybercrimes. In the case of a simple scam, I only knew about a Brazilian exchange sued for fraud, having scammed so big (if I don't mistake, the exchange didn't pay users for millions, but until now I have no notice about the trial).

Any legal entity can be sued or she and I want to believe that any website that is registered with a domain name is a legal entity online and a public image at that so it should be able to sue and be sued.

Can I sue a scam site or it's owner actually I can they did waste people's or individuals effort working on their site or forum thereby taking it for their own gain.

You can ask the hosting company to take actions against the scam website. No hosting providers want to support a scam websites. You cannaot individually sue.

Hmm, your experience is noted. Its never to cramp this fraudsters and suing them for prosecution of too many scam violations. Those who are behind the scenes around ponzi schemes, should be sued and put in the prison they deserve it.

Is it conceivable to sue a scam website? I mean the domain enlistment is something public right? You can discover who enrolled the domain and where they are put together and from that point with respect to you can record a claim against them?
Is it possible?
And do you know Anyone who has successfully done it?

Any thought folks?
There is an option of domain protection of hide privacy so some domain owner wants to stay anonymous in the internet area so if admin is enabling this paid feature means you cannot unlikely get owner details so some domain registar suggest this option when you run your hosting on their website.

Most scam sites I have visited don't have the owners listed on them, most of ones it's an anonymous site when I check for whois for the domain details but you can report fraudulent website to the different internet crime complaint center or maybe your the federal authorities.
