It not only happens in "personal photos"... but it happens in astrophtograpghy.
Frequently your images will be "invaded" by a passing plane, satellite or even another solar object (this is how asteroids are frequently found).
Classic case.. a satellite intruding into my capture experience... luckily the software can remove it.

I was capturing Orion this past winter and the ISS photobombed me :D Couldn't tell you how many times lately that starlink has photobombed captures.

Don't get me started on StarLink... in many ways I appreciate them.. but the simple fact they are trashing our viewing ability with the crap they are throwing up to make a dollar... I have issues with.
