Can a website run without traffic?

A website without traffic is as good like it doesn't exist, even a house without occupants would seem like a dump ground in just a few number of years. So in conclusion all websites needs traffic in other to be stable.

Just as it is difficult to drive a car without fuel ,so it is difficult to run a website without traffic. Traffic is what helps a site to be monetized ,and without monetization , it won't be easy for such sites to stay long especially when it is a paid to post sites. I don't know what you mean by running a website without traffic. Some websites are not monetized and if they have no traffic then there is no problem since they are not meant to earn. Most of the sites that do not earn from the traffic are websites of big companies (although lately they are already shifting to advertisements in their web pages). Yes you a right. A website can't run without traffic. It is the traffic which brings earning. When there will be o traffic no ads will be displayed and the owner will get nothing. So to get a a website run one needs to have traffic.

I think it is very difficult for any website to run without traffic and every website needs traffic so I do not think that a website can run successfully without even with low traffic so traffic is necessary to run any website.
