Calligraphy

In calligraphy, you make beautiful visual art out of words and sentences. It is such a peaceful and even meditative activity which will offer you a gorgeous end result—one you can even give out as a gift. Calligraphy also has long roots all around the world, so with calligraphy you’re choosing quite an ancient hobby to take on.

I don't see it that often anymore, but it used to pop up on my Facebook all the time and it's really amazing how creative some people are, it really is beautiful and I'm assuming it would be quite therapeutic doing something like that. I don't have enough of a steady hand to even dream of being good at it.

I have the same issue as above - lack of a steady hand - but I'm also left handed which makes writing in English annoying because inevitably my hand is in the way of seeing what I'm doing.

I love watching the TikToks of them! They are beautiful! Now would I ever be able to? idk. I don't like my writing enough, and I know some you practice a pattern over and over - I just doubt I'd be good at it and it's not something I want to put a whole bunch of work/practice into.

My parents bought me a calligraphy kit when I was a teenager and guess what? Even though I'm an artist, I can't do calligraphy! It's so annoying and all my lettering skills are awful. I think it takes a special talent to do lettering.
