If a person has tons of business ideas and all of them seem viable, then how should he/she select the best one out of them all?

Seems all of the are viable and profitable just choose the one that will give you much more time for your business and family. If the business won't take your time away from your family it's okay

It is best to calculate each cost/capital it will take to start each of them. Also the one with the most demand is more viable.

If you have an idea, first and foremost, you need to analyze yourself and see if you have the skills and expertise to work on this idea or not. secondly, you need to research and see if your idea is profitable or not. The idea can be termed profitable if there is not much competition in the market but a lot of demand.

You have to check the profit and The lost of every business before entering to any such business

Brainstorm the ideas you've come up, and see what would be the best one by doing a pros-cons list of each one. What job do you think would pay more? How much work would you have to put in? What would the cost of starting and running it be? There's a lot of factors that go into starting a business, and if you have ideas, that's great, but not all ideas will be possible.

So go through said list, come up with pros and cons and go from there.

If you are truly dedicated, then you may come up with a great idea. There are many thin gs you must know before you propose an idea or think about using it in a practical manner. Not all the ideas are workable and this is why testing them initially could be very important.
