Building Brand Through SEO

For a lot of people, SEO is all about generating traffic and sales, but that's not all SEO can do. You can also build your business or website brand through SEO. let's say you have "Online Money Making" website, if your website appears on the top search result when someone searches for online money making, you have successfully built your brand. Appearing on top search results also proves that you are an authority on that subject.

Myself, I look to two drumming forums as successfully branded sites. They are big, have a lot of content and the content keeps coming in. Anyhow, I don't know about all their doing, but it's working.

Of course, I have seen big drum forums go down, but it must be cause they gave up, not just because of social media competition.
