Wow! Your speed is really high..i would also love to get this speed..i would cut my bsnlbb connection its speed is very bad..:)

It's only great because I'm at work, and if you remove the 20,000 Users I share it with, it gets a HECK of a lot faster. :)

Google offers internet to users within a College campus somewhere in the US and I believe to neighboring suburbs as well, and yes that is a legit speedtest result!

Mine (home) :( Stupid Phone provider had a fault logged regarding line noise, and they STILL haven't resolved it. and its slowly getting worse..

I am literally less than 1.5KM Cable length from the exchange, it should be a HELL of a lot faster, stupid Telstra.

Odd- Telstra is supposed to be pretty fast in NZ. I suppose the giant in the telecom industry (like our Telecom NZ) never does anything right....

Telstra own all the core infrastructure (lines/exchanges/dslams), well the majority.

If there is a fault outside of your home and before the Dslam (providers equipment) its up to telstra to fix.

They claimed it was apart of "major works" they were doing in my area and refused to do anything with it, it got better, (average), now its worse again.
I just CBF relogging another fault with my provider, too much effort :(

For NZ I have an excellent speed. The whole network bar a tiny bit is owned by Telecom NZ- the other parts are owned by Telstra and some smaller local operators. But, the commerce commission have unbundled the exchanges- so individual providers can use their own hardware to speed things up.

Hamilton is pretty close to Auckland and it's going to be the testbed for UltraFast Broadband that they're unveiling, unfortunately I live in the wrong part of Hamilton- so won't be getting it for years :(
