This is interesting. I was actually looking up and reading up on twitters background and history not to long ago. I also read up on the prior investors who the Twitter CEO refunded their investments, and continued on to make billions without them.

An article had mentioned quotes from all those investors and how they felt about it. I have also read up on the fake accounts problem. This is why I do not bother buying "tweets" from twitter accounts. If they have legit followers or not.

I wrote an article on how to check if someone bought fake followers. There's quite a few people that we all know who have a HUGE amount of fake followers.

Anyway, if you'd like to check out the article: Investigate Twitter Accounts for Fake Followers Before Buying Tweets

Ya, I read your article as well. I read your blog :p

haha, cool. You should consider joining our newsletter :)

Back on-topic: For some reason, I'm always skeptical of people with large followings but that could just be being way to paranoid that people are always trying to "cheat" to get ahead.

true enough, but don't forget some accounts that are fake might have not been bought. Just accounts trying to follow other users to make it look like its not fake. My account has 3% fake, and I never bought a single twitter follower.

Yeah, I have a low percentage of fake users as well.
