I sell kitchen appliances and I'm so particular about my brand name and that's why I make sure I :
1. Give a 1 year warranty and after sales service on all our products.
2. Integrity: What you see is what you get, I don't use internet pictures , I take good pictures of my products so the customer buys exactly what he or she places an order for.
3. Follow up: A week after sales I give customers a call to know if they have problems setting up or any other issues.
All these I do make my customer love my brand!
 
Regarding brands and their reputation, I think it is of the greatest importance, since it is the link between a company and its customers. When someone goes shopping, they first look for the brand and then the product, if said brand loses its reputation, surely the sale of the products will fall with a difficult return to the top.

I have a poultry that was active last December and with the power of social media, Twitter account, I was able to sell a dozen of my birds online. What I always do was to let the buyers see the need to give good reviews about my business as that was the way I got to make a lot of new customers too which was great.
