Traffic is important, but people need to click on ads for you to earn. Make sure your ads match your blog content. Chances of clicks increase when ads are related
Use related affiliate ads. If the content of the blog and the affiliate ad being promoted are similar, you can have actions on your ads.
If you use ad networks like AdSense, write content with keywords that match the ads.
