They are called Blue Chip stocks that are owned by big corporations that have a long, good track record in their financial performance. One example is the biggest bank in our country that started small in 1980 but continuous with the growth. When they had an IPO some years ago the price of their stock in the market was at 20 pesos. Now it is fluctuating from a low of 120 to a high of 160 pesos. That is the only stock that we have for 3 years now and we are still holding on to it until the time comes that we need the money.
