Which one do you think is harder to manage?

Personally I think a forum is harder to manage, because you have to deal with spammers. Handling a blog is much easier for me.

What about you?

Forum is definitely harder. However, a blog can be as well, especially if you have to do daily posts. That is a very big task to try and find something to post daily. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes I'm not even in the mood to make a post.

It depends on how you look at it. On a forum, the hardest thing you'd probably have to spend more time moderating the forum because of spammers joining at times. But for a blog, the hardest thing is more about continually writing articles to display. You go too long without posting an articles and it could spell death for your blog.

In my opinion, a blog is more difficult to manage, in a sense that all material must be generated by you personally. In a forum you can start a thread but you can get numerous point of views on the matter which I think is wonderful. Blogs tend to feel like a one way street, as opposed to a forum with a lot more topics to cover. I find that I am able to manage a forum much more often than a blog.

Blog is more difficult to manage because you need to fill up the content and write some articles on the site .. Unlike forum if you have staffs to taken care off you can manage it without your presence ;)

A blog is more difficult to manage if you have to post a lot of content to keep it going. If you're posting like once a week, than yeah, a forum is harder to manage.

Forums. An blog is more difficult to handle to the fact you have to write articles, etc. I probably like forums more because I'm more experience and used to forums ..

Forum is definitely harder to manage. Because you have alot of things you need to check everyday, spam bots, rule breakers and stuff like that.

I don't know, I think a blog is more difficult to manage. Because with a blog you have to deal with spammers as well, and also write excellent content every day. A forum's easier because your members will create almost all of the content.

I've never managed a blog before, so I'd have to say a forum. Though, in my opinion a forum would be harder to manage anyway. There's so much that goes into it.

Based on my experience with forum participation, I thinking running and managing forum is a hard work. YOu need constantly attract more users, regularly encourage the users to create content. regularly moderate content for spam, etc.

Even though I have not managed a forum or blog before, but I think blog is harder to manage than forum, because, just as already mentioned above, in a blog, the owner needs to create quality contents by his or herself, but it is not so in a case of forum.

and I prefer the forum to the blog, I've always preferred that. I find it much nicer and you can interact with anyone and get whatever information you want.

It is obvious, forums are harder to manage because unlike blogs that can sustain even when there is just one user who is doing most of the publishing, forum needs multiple users who frequently create topics and posts. Managing a forum also means managing people because forum is basically a community of people interested in similar topics.
