Lately there is one expensive .blog domain going on. Like this domain is pretty much useful for those who have their own blog and want to create blog specific identity. Often .com domains get sold and you don't get the name so the .blog domain seems to be pretty useful. I don't think I can afford one such domain but I would like to know if you can afford one such domain.

Have you bought or wish to buy this domain extension in future?

There are names that goes with .tv, and same goes to .blog
That i will buy .blog in the future depends on my content niche.

Since I typically make forums over blogs I don't see myself getting a .blog extension. It is creative when people use different domain extensions other than the most common TLD. Typically it's cheaper to get a .com or .net domain over special ones, but many companies are hosting Black Friday sales right now so it'd definitely be the perfect time to buy a domain name if you need one.

for a blog I would prefer a .me domain, not because of the lower price, but because it expresses my name to a blog. for example: bizdustry.me, I like how it sounds for a blog.

.me domains are registered for personal / portfolio use, if you'd use them for a blog, you'd either get minimal exposure or you'd end up with the wrong audience.

.blog domain extension isn't had useful and resourcesful as .com because the .com domain extension is valuable in the eyes of Google and tends to rank higher than any other domain extension

Dot Blog can be a good extension for a blog, but it is expensive compared to dot com. You can get dot com for less than $13, even less during the promotional period, however, dot blog might cost you around $7 in the first year and you wil end up paying about $24 from second year.

I think .TV is for online TV station. It is best to go for .org or .blog cos that will show people which type of site they are going into.

Yes it expensive one and I don't see any value if you running a blog as your content itself your selling point and you don't need to have .blog extension. If you have personal blog than you can use .me for that.

Blog domain sounds goos for blogs and me for personal blog or website. However, i wouldn't suggest anyone to go with these domains. These are expensive domains you will havw to pay at least $20 even when you find promo code during registration. Dot com,info or even net are better versions.

I wouldn't go for a .blog domain name as my website will be a full website and so I don't want to create any impression that my website is actually a blog because websites are more valuable than blog.

It is true that websites are more valuable than blogs. I too won't think about going that route of getting a .blog domain either, I rather go for a website domain that is proffesional from the get go

Dot blog domain looks good for a blog site but it is expensive compared to dot com. You also need to think about the cost involved when building a website
