Blog Directories

Are directories even relevant anymore? Do you submit your blog to them? I know in the past, before search engines became like they are now they were a must. Now it's all about SEO and getting it right for Google.

I wouldn't even be able to to tell you one person that uses blog directories. Sure forums and stuff work for that. Blogging just doesn't fit that.

I have never uesd that for my blog. I am not sure if or how this can/would be used.

Just like any type of promotion, it would have to be the right directory. There is a good handful of top directories that you would want to be a part of because you can get great traffic from them. The thing is, the better the directory, the more time it might take to get accepted into. The good ones can be pretty picky.
