What are the biggest scams you have seen online that people have gone for?

DigitalGeneration (https://coingeneration.com/) was a site that claimed to pay $30 per month for each "Thread" purchased. It was an obvious ponzi scheme. People promoted it on FP and some people must have got sucked in. Eventually everything went silent, no more people promoting it and Chris Grigg's unofficial support forum stopped being posted in.

Honestly I didn't see any scam personally, because I don't search for such stuff on the internet and I don't use forums all that often. So I can say that the biggest scam I've seen thus far is the one you've mentioned, @Sam xD

Have you never come across HYIP? They are mostly ponzi schemes that offer to pay you 1-2% daily (which is huge).

Biggest scams I've seen are those re-hashed eBooks but thats about the biggest I've seen/been involved in online anyway. I don't tend to part with my money or search for stuff much xD

Have you never come across HYIP? They are mostly ponzi schemes that offer to pay you 1-2% daily (which is huge).

I don't even know what HYIP stands for, so I assume that I didn't. Like I said, I don't use forums that often so I don't see such schemes and Gmail does a great job filtering spam for me so I don't get that into my main inbox either.
