True but most times sale company barely make it long because of competition , lack of good marketing plan and teams , poor product packaging and poor services . This is the major problem that sales business faces as well. However there is profit with this type of business
 
Sales is not for me because I strongly feel it's a specialised skill. You also need to have the gift of the gab, which doesn't come easily to everyone. There are industries within which being a great salesman can really pay dividends because of the commissions these guys can rake in. Examples include insurance and pharmaceuticals. I once attended an insurance company event where the salespeople were being awarded 1 million Pula ($100,000) bonuses!
 
Inasmuch as the sales department of a company is very good and important, I don't like it that much due to high target and expectation burden placed on you as a salesman.
This reminds me of my last sales representative job where I had to toil just to meet up sales target, meeting deadlines, closing up sales , all these makes this department a very stressful department.

I agree with you if a person is creative , constructive and express loudly he can make strategies and plans for big sells ... but it's really a very hectic job because you have to fully attentive for some petty issues also
