Many aspects of programming require an understanding of math beyond the basic level. To become proficient at programming, you will need to have a thorough understanding of algebra and arithmetic.

I think all one need to learn any skill is determination, knowledge and interest. As far as you have the knowledge and then interest to have a bisic skill in programming or any other skill all you have to do is devote your time to the fullest and sure you will succeed

Firstly the person should be able to think logically. I found that the most important thing to be good at programming. Then they should be able to think ahead since they need to know what it going to be needed for the program before they create it.

To succeed in the world of programming, one must be equipped with the necessary knowledge which entails acquisition of skills. There are hundreds of available skills out there, but which is profitable for beginners to start with.
Familiarizing yourself with how different codes work, and I also came to realise that one has to be very patient when learning programming, first you can't understand it overnight... Also, it takes a lot of time to be able to write some codes successfully and this can only be achieved if you're patient and not in haste always.

Truth be told, the skill of programming is too broad. If you want to learn programming, you’ll lose motivation quickly. It’s overwhelming beyond imagination to view it as a single entity. As such, we’ll break it apart in the following sub-skills. Excel is one of the king tools for programmers, software developers, project manager, traders, and business guys. It’s much more than just spreadsheet software.

Programmers are problem-solvers by occupation, which it is one of the most vital soft skills for success in the industry. The entire basis of the job is to solve issues by creating solutions to what different industries need. After writing codes and creating programs, programmers also find and fix any issues that may appear. This is not often an easy task since even the tiniest of errors has the ability to wreak havoc on a program

There are several key skills that I believe you need to have if you want to be a software programmer. The ability to learn concepts and apply them to other problems. Basic mathematical skills. A passion for problem solving. Good communication skills. Good writing skills. Confidence around a computer. Resourcefulness.

This may seem obvious, but if you are thinking about becoming a developer, you will need to be confident with a computer. If you are too timid or afraid you might break something, it will hold you back.

Concerning the basic skills to learn as a programmer. Well, programming is very broad and it has to do with an individuals passion and interest in it. Programmers are very logical in there thinkings, they think ahead. Programmer are problem-solvers, this skill drive them to do more research and updated . Programmer are sound mathematically especially in algebraic and arithmetics

the skill of programming is too broad. If you want to learn programming. Many programmers and coders don't go to school to learn their trade. Proficiency with programming languages. Learning concepts and applying them to other problems with Mathematical skills.

To become a good programmer you need logical thinking as a skills
Logical thinking ; A lot of mathematicians and physicists find jobs in programming. Finding a bug sometimes feels like a game of Mastermind.

I will love to learn how to develop android and ios apps. I don't know what kind of programming language I should be learning if I want to learn app development and design. Coding is something that I am taking a lot of interest these days.

I landed on this thread to find out answers, however, looks like most of the posters know nothing about programing and they are trying to show themselves as an expert.

Many elements of programming need a higher-level grasp of arithmetic. You'll need a solid grasp of mathematics and arithmetic to become a programming expert.

I am not a programmer, so my knowledge around programming is not so deep. Presently, Learn coding on YouTube and I started with the bases of the type of niche I want to concentrate on. I started with assembly language because my niche is electronics related.

If you want to become a programmer basic mathematics skills is going to help you but is not ultimate. You should also have good problem-solving skills and creative ability.

When knowing programs, you should have actually great logical understanding of exactly how varieties function while communicating along with one another, understanding all of the coding that programs involves, understanding the very best coding combination.

There are a lot of areas that deal with programming and programming is not only about Coding, there are some simple one that you can start with like the Python which is the most simplest one or the cc+, you can start with any of those.

One more benefit of learning programming is that you can become a tutor or an instructor in a school or college and earn money as a professor. So acquiring and knowledge and skills in programming is very demanding in future with students eager to learn software skills in early days.
