Are people losing interest in forum activities?

At the time I joined this forum in 2020, there was so much member activity and people were always online trying to complete their tasks.

But it's not the case now as we only see few people online. Also no much new members joining.
This is almost the case for all the forums.

What do you think is the reason for this?

Not every member is fit to stay on a forum. There are times when members begin to act in a way that is bad for the forum such as spamming, online bullying and the rest. This can result in some of them getting banned or suspended. So, whenever a new forum comes up, expect all manner of members at the start before the forum owner begins to pick out those that will stay to deliver top contents for the forum.

I have been on so many forums, I am a part of so many forums, and based on my observation I can say that most users on forums are only looking for incentives or some ways to make money. Very few people post on forms just because they love discussion. People can post for free on social sites but when it comes tom participating on forum discussions, they look for incentives.

I feel as if Bizdustry is popping with activity these days, it may not be what it used to be when forums were huge, but things have changed. Forums aren't as popular as they used to be with the likes of Discord and other apps. But, I think forums still have a place as Discord and other places aren't really great for topics/thread areas etc.

Forums are from the 90s. It was designed to work when the internet was slow, people had time to wait. Nowadays, there is no time and the internet is far more responsive. Discord like platforms are making use of it.

Well, with what's going on with the use of social media platforms today especially when it comes to users now being able to monetize their social media accounts and get paid for their contents, it's directed a major hit on the using of forums.
