What I find interesting of late is how people are discovering that the alternatives to X/Twitter - Mastodon, Bluesky etc - are all leaning back towards the smaller community vibe of old.
If only forums could shake the apparent necessity to cling to their old content model ways, they could make a comeback in ways that haven't been seen for a while.
(Just because the MAU figures on social media are climbing, it doesn't mean actual *people* are behind them.)
