Are bots a good way to develop traffic for a new blog?

Everything that works with artificial intelligence could be good and bad at the same time means the use of bots could be beneficial or bad if the algorithm is wrongly doing the work.
Considering the fact that this days it is very difficult and hard to be able to differentiate whether it's a bot or someone thats working on a particular site, but I think it's good to use robot as a means of generating traffic to new site

Non-human traffic to a website is known as bot traffic.
Although some bot traffic is useful, it can sometimes cause problems.
Bot traffic is neither good nor bad, despite the negative connotations that the phrase frequently implies.
It all depends on what the bots are used for.

look at forums such as this one and perhaps trendi this grew in a very natural way and as a result being members are continuously active because they know the reputation

Traffic from software is just a number, it is not even traffic. You can see the number but there will be no actual visit. Therefore, there will be no ad impression and no conversion.

There are many different ways that you can try and up the number of people that are visiting your website and this is the natural way and the fake way in my opinion, with natural being real people that are viewing the site and then there are bots that can do so as well. Do you think that it is advisable to use bots to up the traffic, in order to try and show that there are a lot of visitors and hopefully that will create an element of trust with new users that will bring in more people as well? Is this a viable strategy?
Indeed, using bots to drive traffic to a new blog can be very effective. With email marketing, social media, and other avenues, they can aid in promoting your blog. Furthermore, they can aid in automating jobs like engagement, content marketing, and curation
