Anyone on Disability?

Having been on it for 7-8 years currently in life, for me personally, I believe it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me myself indeed. It does indeed pay all my bills and I have a little extra to spare on apps, games and jewelry. I have my own life and place currently in life. If not for it, I’d have committed suicide 7-8 years ago. Everything is better with it for me personally in life. Just my 2 cents on it myself, that’s it, that’s all. Feel free to disagree with it yourself.

It's a way to get by, but it takes way more money in the US, my home, to live decently. However, though, some can do well with government housing and disability with budgeting.

I have never been on disability but I did qualify for it, I likely still do. I am able to make a living from home so I have no reason to collect on it. I am a pretty prideful person and hate asking for help when it comes to money. Likely why I never took it. I have had anxiety and panic attacks since I was 14 or so. It has made working a "normal job" rather difficult for me.

No I'm not disable and not on disability check. In my country even if you disable you still won't get any check for that, only developed countries do that.

that's just it instead of you getting paid for being disabled or having a disability or you get is a slap on the on the face and the government is not ready to help you

Disability doesn't deny one the ability to invest in himself/herself. Adequate input should be made to self development. Mind development. It pays a whole lot. Make more research about it

and when you are disabled with this part of the world a lot of people will look down on you. Cos most of the disable people hear are known to be beggarss on the street

yes they do stay strong cuz they already used to the discrimination in the society that's why you see them not caring what people say about them.

Yeah i have seen most disabled people start up business for them selves so its obvious there are some that build themselves

Chaii, it feels bad to be disabled, thank God you're okay and happy with your present life, no matter what you should be happy and contended with your present. At least its waving some kind of Bordens around you, like the tax payment option. You can save more money for yourself knowing you're not paying for tax.

I am not one but just a piece of encouragement for you, don't allow yourself to be limited by your disability as people with disabilities even tend to succeed well above their contemporaries who aren't. There is this inbuilt motivation that pushes them to work wonders.

Well, in India, politically disability is neither considered as a problem, nor disabled people get any right. However some benefits started due to interfere of Supreme Court, and International pressure.

On main point, disability pension is not same in different regions, some states even have less than 10$ a month (not enough to pay bills) but anywhere it is less than $40 even in expensive cities.

Anyone with disability can also go into business but not all business they can do and depends on the type of disable they are...some of them can go into Cyber cafe and we also have many of them as programmers
