Have any of you been watching the Americas Cup Yacht racing? The final is between Emirates Team New Zealand and Oracle Team USA (the defenders). Its high speed racing with speeds of up to 44 knots which is over 80km/h. These are catamarans rather than traditional yachts that were used at previously, which is why they go so fast. To challenge for the cup costs $100million +.

It is first to 9 race wins and the score is 8-1 to Team NZ. Oracle have won 3 races but were docked 2 penalty points for cheating.

This was where the campaign almost ended for Team NZ when their boat was 1/2 a degree from capsizing in such a way that would have crippled their boat.
