So, an Alabama Supreme Court Justice has decided to take it upon himself and enforce the ban on same-sex marriage by telling probate judges not to issue same-sex marriage licenses, and if they do, could be held in contempt of court. This conflicts with the supreme court's decision last year that allowed same-sex marriage in every state in the U.S.

So...thoughts? Does he have the authority to issue such an order despite what was ruled by the U.S Supreme Court?
