So I'm relatively new to the SEO game. I've had forums in the past but I had big enough presence on other forums and social media that it was relatively easy to gain members. I wasn't worried about bringing in traffic per say just members. But with my new site things are different and I'm focusing a lot more time into ranking high in the search engines. I have the key words I want to be ranked for on my home page and all of them being low competition keywords. I've also posted my link on a few forums, 5 now to be exact and I plan on that number being around 30 by the end of next month. I also have 2 thousand followers on my social media accounts, gaining about 250 a day. Do you think I'm heading on the right track to being ranked on the first page of google? How long would you predict it would take to be ranked on the first page if I stuck to this plan? If you have any advice or think my strategy should be tweeked please share!

I think so. With the new mobile approach Google is bring to websites, you need to make sure your site is mobile friendly. If you do that, as well as staying away from penalties, you'll do very well.

Mobile friendly is needed but most of the softwares already have that, but you should always check to see if they do. If they don't I am sure there is a easy way to make them mobile friendly.
