• There are many different ad size codes that you can choose from so the ads will look good on your site.

Disadvantages

• You need a lot of traffic to get money, and visitors need to click on your ads. This isn’t good, but it’s also an easy task. Before applying for Adsense, make sure you have a lot of content and traffic, or you may end up with nothing.
• Your website will be verified before accepting your account, so be careful not to have any illegal content or other person’s work.

The last three points you mentioned under disadvantages is not disadvantage actually. Not just adsense, all ad networks do not want their ads appear on illegal site (unless the ads networks were created for illegal sites). In think the major disadvantage of adsense is the high payment threshold. When I started using adsense on my blog, it took me 2 compete years to make $100.

Actually, Google AdSense is one of the methods one can earn from one's website, but it is just that they are so strict in their rules and regulations which can scare members away. I think one should rather go for AdSense alternatives. It is just my opinion.
