Adbrite Gone

I was reading this on Jason's blog Web Talkz | A Webmasters paradise

Apparently Adbrite is closing down. I get a 404 when trying to access the site. What are your thoughts on this?

Sad that a good ad network next to Adsense has come to an halt. I was one of their happy customer eventhough i didn't earn well from them.

According to wikipedia, "On January 28, 2013, AdBrite sent an email to all of its publishers and advertisers stating that it would cease operations as of February 1, 2013 after a deal to sell the company fell through".

I'm not an adbrite user so it does not effect me.

They sure sucked at the beginning. But lately they have been improving a lot I believe. A few months back, when I checked their control panel, I found it to be a lot better than when I was using it years back.

I used Adbrite a few years ago, I did not get much success. But then again, my sites were not getting enough traffic.

It is sad to know Adbrite is gone.
