A colorful and bright design or a simple design?`

Even when I was a novice, I did not believe bright and colorful website design was the best for my website. I always believed. simple design makes your website more beautiful than the colorful designs.

For me I will say simplicity is key. I love doing my things in a simple way, and am not good with colors, so I like to keep them simple.

One of the major factors that keeps a member to a website is a good design and as such the best thing is to have a colourful and bright design that will be very fascinating

As a member on different social networking site and blog,I believe it's best to have a very simple design for a website because huge design can make a website to slow which can discourage members from returning to your website

There are many things to consider when making a design first your audience. it's your urgent our children will definitely go for a colourful design but if they are grown ups, something less colourful and more mature would be better

This is interesting because both are good depending on the kind your clients will like, but personally i prefer simple design than those colourful design.

If you are just starting out I will advise you to go for a more simple and elaborate design then after sometime you can begin to add the sophistication you desire

I think I would go for a simplistic design nothing too colourful but looks sophisticated and clean. I think that would be my go-to type of design.

It depends on my brand and what it stands for. I love simple design with a touch of some bright colours that would send a strong message to my potential customers.

Depends on what type of website you have. Ecommerce sites look better if you have colorful designs, however, a content site or even discussion boards look better with simple design.

If the website is colourful, it's a wonderful idea but I like it when it Is as simple as much as possible. Bizdustry's site is a good example of such a wonderful and simple website. It's not too colourful and not too complicated. The interface should also be very soothing to the eyes.

One thing you should consider when choosing a design and it's colour for your web page is your target audience. Who are your target audience? And what do you plan on selling. If your target audience are the elderly ones, then having a simple and not too flashy design would be more attractive to them.

I will go with the less colourful and simplistic type of design when it comes to choosing of color layouts for my website. This is because I don't want the distractions the multiple type color design might cause for my audience when on my website

I love the colorful websites, they look interesting and attractive to the users. Users also feel safe and comfortable when the site has a bright theme compared to a dark shade theme.

I think that teh simple approach can be good because if it is too colorful then it might make it seem like there is too much happnening and the more busy the site is the harder it will be to use.

When it comes to making yourself a new site, what kind of design do you tend to go with? I prefer the simplistic approach, but I know some people like to spice it up and make their site as fancy and pretty as possible. But, what do you all prefer? To have a colorful site? Or a simple and right to the point kind of site?
I think it depends on what the business is about. For instance, if you are designing a website for a salon or beauty business, vibrant colours look good and appeal to the visitors.

On the other hand, for some other kinds of business where you want to look elegant, avoid using colourful themes. But avoid using dull and gloomy colours as well.

There must be a good balance of colours—neither too dull nor too fancy or vibrant.

When I was in web design school, they said that the age of the your intended audience was important for this aspect of the design. Bright colors and pictures appeal to a young audience, who want action and stimulation. A simpler black and white website, black text on a white background, is high contrast visibility that helps older eyes see your text.

It's also important to keep accessibility in mind and the WCAG rules when making a design, especially for sites that may serve the vision-impaired for any reason.

I'd choose a simple design for a few good reasons. Firstly, simplicity often leads to better user experience because it's easy to navigate and understand. It can load faster, which is great for keeping visitors engaged. Lastly, they're often more timeless.its just my preference but its on the individual what they like.

I always want to keep it simple. I want the visitors to the website to be able to understand what I was trying to do by a mere look at things that I am handling on the site. This is not because I don't like making my sites colorful, but because of the niche that I am into as well.
