What was your first forum and do you still have it to this day or a back up stored somewhere? What software did it run on and how long ago was the making of your first forum? Did it go well and do you have any stories you'd like to share about it?

except its not true. My first forum was a forum for facts and trivia as a part of coolfacts.in

A forum for students, studenthangout.com i think it was called. Had it for around a month and then got fed up (this was when I was a noob though) but I still have the DB somewhere.

Sold it to my friend who redirected it and now I don't think it is his anymore but meh. Idc, WGBB is my home now.

My first forum ever was about pivots and using forumotion. The first forum I've made without forumotion, and using actual forum program MyBB was LonePortal, a 'first of it's kind' forum, that never picked up, people seemed to not enjoy it as I planned they would. It was slightly like a general discussion forum, but it had everything over 500 topics to talk about, ect. Was, and still is the longest I've ever put into a forum.

My first forum was ''Super Mario Deep'' , was hosted on free forums.org, my first co-admins were janj and prince tai, few days janj wanted to backstab both me and prince and close the forum when metaknight and jirachiP Joined the forum , we stopped him and demoted him from the position, then he got banned for telling disrespectful talk, when the forum got steady and reached over 500 posts jirachi protested against us telling ''We do not listen to anyone'' in fact we couldn't achieve his suggestion because he suggested adding badges (medals) while this mod is only for paid hosting and i don't have the credit card to pay, so we reported every nasty post in the other forums and banned jirachiP In my own, year later some MFGG members joined in, among all these users one made posts and suggestions, we had many nice moments in that forum, unfortunately the forum is dead, many users haven't been online for months and got removed by FF.org for inactivity

Too bad, you could have started a forum on a free host. For example pay4host kinda hosting. That way you won't get closed down for inactivity on your forums. You just have to keep on posting on the host's forum!
